Foo Fighters Umumkan Perilisan Album Baru Seraya Melepas Single ‘Shame Shame’

Beberapa menit sebelum mereka naik panggung di Saturday Night Live, Foo Fighters mengkonfirmasi perilisan album studio mereka yang baru. Judulnya Medicine at Midnight dan akan dirilis pada tanggal 5 Februari 2021. Sebagai preview album ini, dedengkot alternative rock ini telah merilis single pertamanya, ‘Shame Shame’, yang bisa lo streaming di bawah artikel ini.

Diproduksi oleh Greg Kurstin dan Foo Fighters, di-engineer oleh Darrell Thorp, dan di-mixing oleh Mark “Spike” Stent, Medicine at Midnight berisi sembilan lagu yang berdurasi total 37 menit.

Seperti yang dijelaskan sang komandan Foo Figthers, Dave Grohl dalam suatu wawancara awal tahun ini, album baru ini “diisi dengan lagu-lagu rock yang anthemic, besar, dan bisa dibuat sing along. Ini seperti album dance, tetapi bukan album EDM, disko, dan dance modern. Album ini memiliki groove. Bagi gue, album ini adalah album Let’s Dance karya David Bowie-nya Foo Fighters. Itulah yang ingin kami buat, kami ingin membuat album ini benar-benar sebuah album yang menyenangkan”.

Medicine at Midnight merupakan album kesepuluh Foo Fighters hingga saat ini dan susulan dari Concrete and Gold tahun 2017.
